Even though I love and miss Washington I still enjoy Hawaii tremendously. I never thought I could be this happy in Hawaii right now. Tonight was amazing due to friends, the gift of communication, and creation. Everyone needs to stop and remember how much life is good. Stop and smell the roses man! Our problems mean nothing in this system, we need constant reminders about that. Why worry about how much money you need to save for next weeks bill? It's pointless to do so. Im not saying live a carefree life, you just need to appreciate what you have around you and make the best of things. Im starting to realize that now. I hope I feel this way forever because it's uh-ma-za-za-ziiing! I might just be rambling but I don't mind. I am too happy XD

I love my new camera a lottt. I haven't really gotten to use it but one night Chris and I drove around Kaneohe and ended up at the bay sooo.. we took sum paks. Im yet to take some serious video, really just some random shots of friends and scenery but not enough to make a montage. I'll get to it once I get all my worries and weight off my shoulders. Oh by the way I hate paying bills. Mo money mo problems mi rite?

Sunday

Veye-nulls

I do like vinyls. With Mp3's being easy enough to steal, why buy the music online? Ownership can be obtained with a click of a button and waiting for 10 minutes (Torrents), all for free! That's why I buy vinyls. Not only will I have obvious ownership but it's something to hold and look at and think "Cool!" CD's are great but vinyl is so much better.. in my opinion. Plus after it ages or collects dust, it gives the music a different feel. I don't know.. give it a try!

My music taste ranges and recently i've been adding new genres to my library. I know what I like though, and Hawaii doesn't necessarily fulfill my musical essential needs. That's why I was really happy to find this little music shop in K town (and when I mean little I mean tinnnny) that had music that I liked. Don't you love finding things that you can relate to in a place you feel like you're being exiled in? Don't get me wrong I like Hawaii but, the ratio of things I have in common with people and places here to Washington is an big difference. I guess that's a little harsh, I don't feel like I was put here. I chose to be here. I suppose I just miss Washington more than I thought.

I went a little crazy at that music shop called Hungry Ear and spent about 120 bucks in two hours. Like I said though I was so stoked!

Here's what I got: 33's: "Turn on the bright lights" - Interpol; "Funeral" - Arcade Fire; "Modern Guilt" - Beck; "Dark night of the soul" - Sparklehorse
45's: Panda bear; Yeah Yeah Yeahs; La Roux; Coconut Records; David Bowie; Baltimora; Steel Train; Charlotte Gainsbourg

Paige let me borrow the Crystal Castles, it's amzinggggg.

Tuesday

A day at the beach.

Pee pole.

My Hawaiian mother Dana. We text and stuff ;)

This is Brittany and her new boy toy Chris. They look good together I think. They're not that annoying to hang out with, they're actually really fun. Thank goodness.

Paaaige Ward. Cool girl and a really great friend. Someone on this island I can longboard and listen to records with. She's super cuuuuute.

My room mate Joel. Our living situation is pretty legit. We play video games all day, watch Sunny in Philadelphia, and I sleep on the couch. Life's great.

Pikchairs.

Allysons my friend, that's actually her in the heading. I've only hung out with her once which kinda sucks but she was nice enough to send me two mix CD's and two friendship bracelets. What a cool girl.

My pills. Antibiotics to be exact. My doctor literally told me I would die if I didn't take these. That was an overreaction.

I really like this tunnel. I go in and out of it from Monday thru Friday. It's probably a mile long and it's always dark.

Wednesday

Rodeo drive in

I think one of the things I miss the most would have to be the drive-in in Port Orchard. Im positive i've been at least 50 times and every single time was ridiculously fun. Including the time I got sick off undercooked tacos and threw up outside the concession stand. Two times stand out to me though when i've went there. The first was when I watched War of the Worlds and Star Wars Ep. 3. I can't remember who was all there besides Chloe, Demetri, Audrey and Clayton. That was the first time we spread blankets under the screen next to the swing sets and it was sooo fun. The whole time just laying next to each other keeping ourselves warm with our friends and cracking jokes through out both movies, mostly War of the Worlds because Star Wars is just.. well amazing.

The second time that stood out to me would be the last time I went there. I went to see Inception and Grown Ups with Chloe and Sam (as seen above). I don't why it was so special.. maybe because it was the most comfortable place I could of watched a movie. On the hood of my car where it stayed warm from the engine, under the stars, next to my two favorite people, sipping limeaid, and eating popcorn and cotton candy. Plus we were getting our minds blown by Inception. Im yet to find a place like this in Hawaii, I think when I do it's either going to be a beach or on top on a really big hill. Hopefully i'll find it soon because the more I think about Washington the more I want to come back.

Saturday

Eycha Dee!

I decided to buy a Canon T2i and realized I have the money to do it! Im gonna be making sooo many videos once I get it. Especially when Chloe comes to visit!
